2008 Announcement - We at MKC cherish the paddling community of which clubs are the foundation. We respect the importance of paddling clubs and would like to share an initiative of MKC's with you. Each club member receives a 15% discount on any MKC paddling course, if booked as a group. This is a unique opportunity for both the club and its members, in that the 15% will be split with a 10% discount applied directly to the members' reservation and a 5% donation going back to their club. Reservations with deposits must be received by April 30 as a club group booking. We see this as a mutually beneficial arrangement for both MKC and your club- for MKC as valuable promotion and for the club a revenue generating opportunity in addition to knowing your members are 'river wise'. Receiving instruction provides a solid and safe paddling future for club members. Madawaska Kanu Centre has been the premier whitewater canoeing and kayaking facility in Canada since it was established in 1972. MKC has a reputation for the perfect combination - high quality instruction, great food, a stunning location and a fun après paddling atmosphere. MKC features internationally recognized kayak and open canoe instructors, world-class cuisine, a safe environment on the Madawaska River and specialized weeks dedicated to instruction for women, families and seniors.
