Heading to Lexington this weekend. Can anyone give me a site to gather more information in regards to the Maury. I am solid class III paddler and wanted some class II/III action this weekend. Will this river provide this type of action and do you know of any local clubs or groups I could sync up with while I am in the area,
Check on the coastals forums. Two rapids - Devils Kitchen and Corner are class 4 at higher levels. Also there is a large strainer in the Kitchen in the standard line, try to find a local to show you the way. Read info @ americanwhitewater.org
